For over 15 years, Bio Basic Asia Pacific has been synthesizing oligonucleotides for a variety of research applications. At Bio Basic Asia Pacific, the quality of the modified oligo products is inspected by mass spectrometry to guarantee the accuracy and purity. Bio Basic Asia Pacific also specializes in modified oligonucleotides with a diverse range of modifications available, including Linkers, Spacers, Quenchers, Fluorophores, Modified Bases, Phosphorylation, Probes and many more. * Note: An additional purification cost per oligo will be applied. The purification method for modified oligos will be HPLC only.

Turnaround Time

On average it takes about:

  • 2 business days for standard oligos (Desalt and HAP).

  • +2-3 days for PAGE or HPLC purification.

  • +1-2 days for longer oligos (longer than 60 bases)
    *Turnaround times will vary on current throughput, volumes and complexity of the order.

Upon project completion, we will provide:

  • Final modified oligo product at customer’s desired scale
  • User manual
  • Delivery report, which includes:

  1. Quality inspection report

  2. Capillary Electrophoresis report

    (Note: For HPLC_CE (IVD) products, both mass spectrometry report and capillary Electrophoresis report are available)

        • Bio Basic Asia Pacific has modified oligo synthesis process to allow a simpler and more consistent approach to this pricing structure and final yield deliverable. Because of this we guaranteed the total yield of each oligonucleotide as a FIXED final yield in OD (Optical Density) units.
        • Please take note that quotations of modified oligos only refer to the (a) modification quotation. The price of the oligos synthesis refers to (b) oligo synthesis quotation. Therefore, the total price for modified oligos synthesis would be based on (a) modification quotation + (b) oligo synthesis quotation.

        For Modified Oligo Orders, kindly provide the following information:

        1. A unique oligo name

        2. Sequence in 5′ to 3′

        3. Desired final yield (in OD)

        4. Modifications in their respective location
