The Mouse IL-6 ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Mouse IL-6. Interleukin-6 (IL6), is a multifunctional cytokine that plays important roles in host defense, acute phase reactions, immune responses, nerve cell functions and hematopoiesis. It is expressed by a variety of normal and transformed lymphoid and nonlymphoid cells. This assay employs a biotinylated antibody specific for Mouse IL-6 coated on a 96-well plate and uses a colorimetric detection method with HRP-conjugated streptavidin, measured at 450 nm. |
