Description A selective liquid culture medium for the cultivation, enrichment, and enumeration of Lactic Streptococcus spp. and Lactococcus spp. from dairy products. Its nutrient-rich formulation, together with Disodium‑β‑glycerophosphate, buffers the pH during fermentation, promoting the growth of target bacteria while suppressing acid-tolerant non-target lactobacilli. M17 Broth is ideal for selective enrichment, quality control testing, and research applications in dairy microbiology, ensuring robust recovery of lactic streptococci and lactococci.
