Human IL-7 ELISA Kit

The Human IL-7 ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Human Interleukin-7 (IL-7). IL-7 is a hematopoietic growth factor secreted by stromal cells in the red marrow and thymus. IL-7 is a cytokine important for B and T cell development by forming a heterodimer with the hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) and functioning as a pre-pro-B cell growth-stimulating factor. It also acts as a cofactor for V (D)J rearrangement of the T cell receptor beta (TCRB) during early T cell development.

This assay employs a biotinylated antibody specific for Human IL-7 coated on a 96-well plate and uses a colorimetric detection method with HRP-conjugated streptavidin, measured at 450 nm.
