The Human IL-2 ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Human Interleukin (IL-2), also known as T-cell growth factor (TCGF) or Aldesleukin. IL2 is a powerfully immunoregulatory lymphokine that is produced by lectin- or antigen-activated T cells. It is responsible for autocrine cell cycle progression and regulation of immune responses. This assay employs a biotinylated antibody specific for Human IL-2 coated on a 96-well plate and uses a colorimetric detection method with HRP-conjugated streptavidin, measured at 450 nm. |
