| Description: | Glutathione Oxidized (GSSG) is the oxidized form of Glutathione (GSH) which is an important detoxification agent. GSSG will be reduced back to GSH when used in vivo. The ratio of Glutathione (GSH) to Glutathione Oxidized (GSSG) is a key indicator of cellular oxidative stress, in which higher levels of GSSG in cells may indicate a higher cellular oxidative stress. This product can be used to study sickle cells and red blood cells. |
