| Description: |
Dulbecco’s Phosphate Buffered Saline (D-PBS) is a balanced salt solution that is commonly used in maintenance of mammalian cell culture. It is often used for rinsing washing of cells, transportation of cells, preparation of reagents as a diluent, or buffer in many chromatographic procedures. This product is sterilized by 0.1μm filter, and can therefore be used directly, without any treatment such as dilution and sterilization. This D-PBS does not contain any calcium nor magnesium ions, therefore it does not inhibit the trypsin activity, making it suitable to wash and resuspend cells during the dissociation process. Note: The salt concentration of this buffer is 138mM NaCl, 2.7mM KCl, 8mM Na2HPO4.12H2O and 1.5mM KH2PO4. |
