| Description: |
Pre-stained Protein Ladder is a ready-to use formulation which does not require boiling. The ladder contains 9 pre-stained proteins covering a wide range of molecular weights (1.7~40kDa) and includes an orange reference band at 40kDa and a green reference band at 10kDa. The protein ladder is designed for monitoring protein separation during SDS-PAGE, verification of western blot transfer (PVDF, nylon or nitrocellulose membranes) and estimation of the proteins size. The formulation of the ladder is ready-to use in gel loading buffer without heating, dilution or addition of reducing agents. Lot-to-lot variation of apparent molecular weight of pre-stained proteins is less than 1%. |
